Melissa descended upon Savannah after finishing college in 2002, when she started her career as an early childhood school educator. After years of teaching school and running her own jewelry design business, she decided to give real estate a whirl. Since then year after year she’s been consistently ranked Top Producer. Melissa and her business partner Ridley Stallings, of The Rowan Stallings Group, set two regional residential sales records in 2023 alone. Along with her GRI certification she’s a member of the Savannah Board of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.
After a childhood spent traveling the globe with her parents, she settled in the southern city that most reminded her of her favorite European locales, Savannah, Georgia. To this day, she enjoys seeing her clients fall in love with the beauty of the drenched moss filled trees, historic homes and vibrant people as she did.
Melissa’s work at Corcoran Austin Hill Realty focuses on high-end residential and commercial real estate throughout the region, and she serves an international clientele hailing from all corners of the globe—including South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Italy and the UK. She excels at finding the right opportunities for all of her clients, even if that means seeking out properties not currently listed on the open market.
Melissa is also deeply invested in the well-being of her community. She’s a member of the Savannah Historic Downtown Board of Review, Historic Savannah Foundation, Chatham Club, the Savannah Golf Club, and Club Bardo. Melissa along with her husband support a number of local organizations including Savannah Philharmonic, Savannah College of Art & Design, Telfair Museum, Junior Achievement, Second Harvest, American Heart Association, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Davenport House, and the Savannah Country Day School.
As a mother of three amazing children, Melissa leads an active lifestyle filled with tennis, pilates, skiing, and traveling. She lives in her favorite part of town— the Landmark Historic District, with her husband John Paul Rowan, daughters Sassy and Speed, son Wilde, and last but not least two dogs Henry and Whitaker. With her Husband and children being born and raised in Savannah their family roots run deep within this magical city she calls home.
